About Us
Elle et Lui: As seen in No-Va Living Magazine
I was nervous driving to Elle et Lui - agreeing to get my hair cut by a stranger. I took a deep breath walking in, but as soon as I did enter the Elle et Lui, which means she and him, the feeling was comfort. This cozy salon is owned by Louise Logan-Carter on Chain Bridge Road. Once you're in, you don't want to hurry out.
Get your hair styled, cut, highlighted, colored, and more. Elle et Lui has been at their original location for six years. The building was a Pizza Hut before it was turned into this salon and spa. It has a cozy feel because of all the nooks and crannies. One room is for washing and coloring, another just for your nails. Then, the hairstyling chairs are arranged in different areas of the salon -- this is all to give the client a feeling of intimacy. It cuts down on noise and lets each person have a one-on-one visit and consultation with their hairstylist.
Louise regularly cuts and styles hair, and she cut mine. I was relieved and thrilled. She listened to me, which some stylists don't and analyzed my hair before beginning. She added layers that work well and give my whole head a more styled, polished look.
Head to the back of the spa and find the massage and facial rooms. Elle et Lui offers massage therapy, reflexology, several kinds of facials, make-up application, and all kinds of waxing. Of course, you can also get a manicure or pedicure or both, along with a paraffin hand dip. You instantly feel at home and welcome at this salon. The service is great, the services offered are many, and the ambiance is comfort all the way.
Louise is a warm person and is dedicated to the idea behind the salon of making you look and feel your best. They understand that total success and happiness in life depends on how you feel about yourself and are committed to helping you with this goal. And let's not forget that men are welcome here too -- hence the name of the salon translated: she and him.
